What is rot in link building?

When a website no longer has any articles, it will be removed automatically. This is called rot. In this situation, all pages that the site used to have are not redirected, but the site still works properly because these pages don’t use any keywords or even touch on any material related to your link building campaigns.



The term used to describe instances where pages that are no longer active aren't properly redirected or dealt with. This occurs when a link pointing in one direction to a site's homepage or other main page, is instead directed to a page with different content.
